Guy Haran is a wine professional with more than two decades of experience in wine, gastronomy, and wine tourism. Guy is the author of the book “Wine Journal – An Israeli Adventure” and the creator and host of the podcast “Wine is basic” exploring wine, food, and agricultural culture.
Guy is a Diploma candidate at the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) and teaches students within the school’s international wine education programs.
Guy is also an international wine tourism expert and advisor to wineries and culinary businesses on tourism development, business development, and marketing. Guy is involved in projects supporting the development of wine regions and serves as a judge in international wine competitions.
