Michael Rochman has been President of North Star Consulting, Inc. (NSC), a California corporation since 1998.
Prior to his tenure at NSC, Mr. Rochman practiced business transactions law for ten years. Mr. Rochman holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and a JD from UC Berkeley Law School.

NSC provides utilities procurement and program management services to nonresidential customers. NSC’s primary client is a purchasing consortium that serves over 300 California public agencies, including school districts, community colleges, universities, and municipal agencies.
NSC manages the consortium’s programs for natural gas & electricity commodity supply, telecommunications & internal networking, solar power & energy storage, vehicle & site electrification, LED lighting & conservation, and utility data management. NSC also manages the consortium’s finances, including annual issuance of “revenue anticipation note” bonds.
